Terms of Use
Last updated: October 23, 2026
The rules for using Batchly, what you allow Batchly to do with what you upload, and what Batchly can and cannot promise in return. How your information is handled is in the Privacy Policy.
The short version. You can play without an account. Accounts are for people 13 and over. You keep ownership of what you make; uploading it lets Batchly host it, show it and let people play it, and lets other players remix it. Don't upload or post anything harmful, deceptive or unsuitable for a general audience, or anything you don't have the rights to. Batchly is a free personal project run by one person, and it comes as it is.
That summary is a guide, not the agreement. The sections below are.

These terms
Batchly is batch-ly.com, a free site of games and tools run by one person as a personal, non-commercial project. “Batchly”, “we” and “us” mean that person.
These terms are an agreement between you and Batchly. They apply whenever you use the site, signed in or not, and you agree to them again when you make an account. If you do not agree, please do not use Batchly.
Playing without an account
You can browse Batchly and play its games without an account. Saving to the cloud, leaderboards, achievements, a public profile, comments and publishing games need one. Everything in What is not allowed applies to guests too.
Accounts
- You must be 13 or older to make an account. Before you sign in or sign up, Batchly asks for your month and year of birth. It does not keep them: an account stores only that it confirmed it is 13 or over, and when. If an answer shows an account holder is under 13, Batchly signs that browser out and flags the account for an administrator. You can still play as a guest.
- If you are under 18, read these terms with a parent or guardian before you make an account.
- Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account. If you think someone else is using it, change your password and tell us at the address in Contact.
- Your display name, avatar and bio are public. Don't use them to pretend to be someone else, to share someone's personal details, or to show anything What is not allowed forbids. Batchly may change or remove a name, picture or bio that breaks these terms.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings. What that removes is in the Privacy Policy.
What you upload
You keep ownership of what you make. Uploading a game, a cover, a comment or anything else to Batchly does not hand your rights to Batchly.
Batchly does need your permission to run the site with it. So when you upload or post something, you give Batchly a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, run, show, adapt and distribute it, in order to:
- let people play it on batch-ly.com, and in the embed that other sites can use to show a Batchly game;
- show it in lists, search, rankings, collections, feeds (including the site's RSS and JSON feeds), share previews, notifications, emails and posts about Batchly;
- make covers, icons, thumbnails and preview images from it, and write a description and tags for it;
- check it, including with automated and AI review, before and after it is published;
- offer its source file for download and include it in Batchly's public source repository on GitHub, as Remixes and source files describes;
- let other players remix it, as described below.
This licence lasts while the upload is on Batchly. When you delete it, or your account, Batchly stops offering it. Copies other people already made under these terms (a published remix, a downloaded file) are not recalled, and cached copies and backups can take a while to clear.
By uploading, you confirm that you have the right to do so and to give this licence, and that the upload follows these terms. If it includes someone else's work, such as code, art, music, sound or fonts, make sure its licence allows this, and credit it in the description.
If you send feedback or ideas, Batchly may use them without owing you anything.
Remixes and source files
- Any published community game can be remixed. Another player can open a copy of its code in Studio, change it and submit the result as a new game. A remix is checked like any other upload and shows a link to the game it came from. By uploading a game you allow other Batchly users to do this on Batchly. There is no setting to switch remixing off for one game today; if you don't want your game remixed, don't upload it, or delete it.
- When you remix, keep the credit to the original, and only use parts you are allowed to. Your remix is your upload, under these terms like any other.
- Source files. A published game's source file is offered for download on the downloads page if its creator leaves “share the source” on, which you can change on your creator dashboard. Separately, Batchly may copy reviewed versions of selected published games, chosen by hand, into its public source repository on GitHub.
- Downloading or reading a game's code gives no extra rights in it. A game's code reaches every player's browser so it can run. Being able to see it, download it or remix it on Batchly does not give anyone permission to use it anywhere else; that is up to its creator.
What is not allowed
This applies to everything on Batchly: games, covers, titles, descriptions and tags, comments, names, avatars, bios, collections, jam entries, feedback and messages.
- Nothing harmful to players or their devices. No malware, no cryptominers, no code built to overload a device, nothing that tries to break out of the sandbox games run in, reach other players' accounts, or send the page away to another site.
- Nothing deceptive. No fake sign-in or payment screens, nothing that tries to collect passwords, payment details or other credentials, no scams, and no pretending to be Batchly or someone else.
- No collecting personal information. Don't send players' data to outside servers, and don't ask players for personal details (a real name, address, phone number, school or photos) or to contact you away from Batchly (“add me on …”).
- Nothing unsuitable for a general audience that includes young players. No sexual content of any kind; anything that sexualises children is reported to the authorities. No hateful content, graphic gore, or content that promotes self-harm, illegal drugs or gambling for real money.
- No harassment. No bullying, threats, or attacks on anyone, in comments, names, bios, games or anywhere else.
- No spam. No empty or broken uploads, floods of near-identical ones, advertising, or misleading titles, tags or covers.
- Nothing you don't have the rights to. No copyrighted code, art, music, sound, fonts or characters used without permission, and no using someone else's brand to pass a game off as theirs.
- Nothing illegal, and nothing that breaks the law where you are.
- No talking to the reviewer. Instructions hidden in an upload that try to get the automated review to approve it are treated as abuse, and the upload is rejected.
- Don't attack the site. No getting around limits or blocks, no probing for security holes beyond what you need to report one, and no automated access that loads Batchly heavily. If you find a security problem, please tell us at the address in Contact and don't use it.
Checking and removing content
Every game is checked before it is published, by an automated AI review and, where the Privacy Policy says so, by a person. You are told when a game you uploaded is approved or needs changes. A check is not a guarantee, and things can get through. If you see something that breaks these terms, use Report game in a community game's menu, or write to the address in Contact.
Batchly may refuse, hide, unpublish or remove any upload, comment, name or other content, at any time, if it breaks these terms, if a report about it looks right, or if keeping it up could harm players, other people or the site. A game that was taken down is checked by a person before it can go back up. Batchly does not have to host anything, and may stop offering any game or feature.
Copyright and takedowns
If you believe something on Batchly copies your work without permission, send a notice from the Copyright page. You do not need an account. That page explains what a notice needs, what happens next, and how an uploader can send a counter notice if they believe something was removed by mistake. Batchly responds to notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Repeat infringers. Batchly will, in appropriate circumstances, end the accounts of people who repeatedly upload material that infringes someone else's copyright. Batchly keeps a record of the notices it receives and what it did about each one.
Knowingly sending a false notice or counter notice can make you liable for damages.
Suspending and closing accounts
Batchly may suspend or close an account, take away a feature from it (for example uploading, commenting or the MCP connection), or remove what it has posted, if it breaks these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect players, other people or the site. Where it is safe and practical, you will be told why. If you think a decision was wrong, write to the address in Contact.
You can stop using Batchly whenever you like, and delete your account in Settings. If an account is closed, the parts of these terms that by their nature should continue (the licence for copies others already made, No promises beyond these terms and Limits on liability) keep applying.
Games and content made by others
Most games on Batchly are made by players, not by Batchly, and what players post is their own. Batchly does not endorse it and cannot check every line of it. Community games run walled off from your account.
Some of Batchly's own games and apps come from other people under their own licences, and one is played inside a page from another company, under that company's terms. Credits and licences are on the Credits page, and the open-source code the site ships is listed in its third-party notices. Links to other sites lead to places Batchly does not control.
AI features
Several features use AI models, among them the site's assistant, the College Hub assistant, the sleep helper, reading workout screenshots, the review of uploads, and replies to support email. The Privacy Policy says what each one sends and where.
- AI answers can be wrong, out of date or incomplete, and can sound sure when they are not. Check anything that matters.
- They are not professional advice: not medical, mental-health, legal, financial or safety advice. If you or someone else may be in danger, contact your local emergency number.
- Support email may be answered by an AI model with no person involved. An automated reply is not a decision about your account or a promise from Batchly.
- AI features have limits on how often they can be used, and may be unavailable, changed, limited or switched off at any time.
- Don't put into an AI feature anything you would not want handled the way the Privacy Policy describes.
College Hub, workouts and sleep
College Hub shows what Canvas and Google send it, and that can be late, incomplete or wrong. Check deadlines and grades in Canvas itself, and don't rely on Batchly for anything you would be penalised for missing. Canvas and Google are other companies' services, used under their own terms; connecting them is your choice, and the Privacy Policy explains what that involves.
The workout tracker and the sleep log are for keeping your own records. They are not medical devices and do not give medical advice.
Meeting booking pages let you book a time with the person who runs the page. The meeting is between you and them.
Watts, cosmetics and payments
Watts, cosmetics, titles, emblems, streaks, season rewards and the site's other rewards are part of the games. They have no money value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be sold or moved to another account. Batchly may change, rebalance or reset them, for example to fix a bug, and they end with your account.
Batchly takes no payments today. Paid features are built but switched off. If any is switched on, these terms will be updated first.
Connecting apps and automated access
Batchly's MCP connection lets an AI app you choose upload games for you and, if you allow it, read your College Hub. A token is like a password: keep it secret, and revoke it in Settings if it leaks. What is done with your token counts as done by you, and the same rules and upload limits apply. Batchly may block a token, or an account, from the MCP connection.
Apart from the MCP connection, the embed and the feeds, please don't use bots, scrapers or other automated tools on Batchly in a way that loads it heavily or gets around its limits.
No promises beyond these terms
Batchly is free and is offered “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, Batchly makes no promises beyond what these terms say. In particular, it does not promise that the site will always be available, free of errors or secure; that saves, scores, rewards or other data will never be lost; or that games, College Hub or AI answers are accurate or suitable for you. Don't keep the only copy of anything important on Batchly.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, Batchly is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of the site. Nor is it liable for content other people upload or post, for games made by others, for other sites, or for decisions you make based on AI answers or on what College Hub shows.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that the law does not allow to be limited or excluded. Where you live may give you rights these terms cannot take away; nothing here affects them.
Changes to these terms
These terms change as the site does. When they do, the “Last updated” date at the top changes and the new version is posted at this same address. Significant changes may also be announced on the site. If you keep using Batchly after a change, the new terms apply to you from then on. If you don't agree with a change, stop using Batchly, and you can delete your account in Settings.
The rest
- If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- If Batchly does not enforce part of these terms straight away, it can still do so later.
- Batchly may pass these terms on to whoever takes over running the site. You may not pass on your account or these terms without our agreement.
- These terms, the Copyright page and any rules shown where you use a feature (such as upload limits or a jam's rules) are the whole agreement between you and Batchly about using the site. The Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled.
